Beethoven. Symphony No.5 in C minor, Op.67. Arturo Toscanini conducting the NBC Symphony Orchestra. In four movements: Allegro con brio, Andante con brio, Allegro, Allegro. Recorded in 1939 in studio 8H at Rockefeller Center in NYC. (Studio 8H is now home to "Saturday Night Live") Transfer and restoration from the original Victor 78 set: M-640.

Subject: dynamite version!
This recording is a gem! Sure, audio quality is not up to modern standards (although the transfer seems good), but there's a lot going for the excitement of this version.
